Please read these Terms carefully before using the Credwik platform. These Terms govern your access and use of all Credwik services operated by ADF DesignTech Private Limited.
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User") and ADF DesignTech Private Limited ("Credwik", "we", "us", "our"), incorporated under the Companies Act 2013, registered office in Bahadurgarh, Haryana, India.
By accessing or using the Credwik platform — including the web application, mobile application, APIs, and associated services (collectively, the "Service") — you agree to be bound by these Terms. Acceptance is indicated by clicking "I Agree", "Sign Up", or by continued use following notice of these Terms. Each such action constitutes valid electronic acceptance under the IT Act 2000 and Indian Contract Act 1872.
These Terms apply to all users globally. Where local law imposes additional obligations, we comply with those in addition to these Terms.
To use the Service you must: (a) be at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher; (b) have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement; (c) not be prohibited from receiving services under applicable laws of India or any other relevant jurisdiction; (d) if acting on behalf of a business, have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.
You must register for an account to access core features and agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
You are solely responsible for: (a) maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials; (b) all activities under your account; (c) immediately notifying Credwik at support@credwik.com of any unauthorised use or security breach.
Credwik offers team functionality allowing account owners to grant role-based access to additional users (e.g., team members, Chartered Accountants). The account owner is responsible for all actions taken by users granted access, ensuring access is limited to what is required, and revoking access promptly when no longer needed.
Subject to compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, Credwik grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service for your internal business purposes.
You may not: copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service; reverse engineer or decompile any software component; rent, lease, or sublicense access to any third party; use the Service to develop competing products; use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without prior written consent; or use the Service in violation of applicable laws including the IT Act 2000, FEMA, PMLA, or GST regulations.
Credwik offers the following plans:
— Solo Plan (₹0 / free forever): Core invoicing, ledger, and basic inventory with no time limit — Pro Plan (₹499/month): Full-featured access including GST filing (India), accountant access, and up to 3 users — Business Plan (₹999/month): Multi-branch support, up to 5 users, payroll, audit log, and dedicated support — Enterprise Plan (₹1,999/month): Unlimited users, multi-entity books, white-label invoices, API access, and 4-hour SLA support
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) inclusive of applicable GST. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice of any price changes.
Users who joined during the early access period may have received promotional pricing. Promotional pricing is honoured for the stated period; future renewals are at then-current standard rates.
Credwik is a software tool to assist with bookkeeping and GST filing. It is not a licensed tax advisor, Chartered Accountant, or legal counsel. Nothing on the platform constitutes tax, legal, or financial advice.
You are ultimately responsible for: (a) verifying correctness of all entries, calculations, and filings; (b) ensuring compliance with the CGST Act 2017, Income Tax Act 1961, and other applicable laws; (c) engaging a qualified professional for complex tax matters. Credwik shall not be liable for penalties, interest, or fines arising from errors in your tax filings.
All financial data, records, invoices, ledger entries, and other content you input into the Service ("User Content") remain your sole property. Credwik claims no ownership over your User Content.
By using the Service, you grant Credwik a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to process, store, and transmit your User Content solely to provide and improve the Service.
You may export your data at any time in standard formats (CSV, PDF). Upon account termination, you have a 30-day window to export your data before deletion. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all User Content entered into the Service.
The Service — including all software, designs, text, graphics, logos, trademarks, and content provided by Credwik (excluding User Content) — is the exclusive property of ADF DesignTech Private Limited and is protected under the Copyright Act 1957, the Trade Marks Act 1999, and other applicable IP laws. You may not use the Credwik name, logo, or associated marks without prior written permission.
The Service may integrate with third-party services (e.g., payment gateways, GST filing portals, WhatsApp Business API, banking APIs). Use of such services is subject to their own terms. Credwik does not control, is not responsible for, and is not liable for any loss arising from your use of third-party services.
Credwik will endeavour to provide high availability of the Service but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free access. Credwik shall not be liable for downtime caused by Force Majeure events — including internet outages, government actions, natural disasters, cyberattacks, or disruptions to cloud infrastructure providers.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@credwik.com or through your account settings.
We may suspend or terminate your account if: (a) you materially breach these Terms and fail to remedy within 7 days of written notice; (b) required to do so by law; (c) continued access poses a risk to the security or integrity of the Service.
Upon termination, your licence ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive — including ownership, disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability — will survive.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CREDWIK DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CREDWIK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL.
CREDWIK'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR DIRECT DAMAGES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO CREDWIK IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
Nothing in this section excludes liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by Credwik's negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; (c) liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law including the Consumer Protection Act 2019 (India); or (d) breaches of data security obligations under the DPDP Act 2023.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Credwik and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or in connection with: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of any applicable law or third party's rights; (d) your use of the Service outside the scope of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, including the IT Act 2000, DPDP Act 2023, and Consumer Protection Act 2019.
Parties shall first attempt good-faith negotiations for 30 days. If unresolved: binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996, seat in New Delhi, conducted in English by a sole arbitrator mutually agreed or appointed by DIAC.
If you access the Service from outside India, you acknowledge that your information may be transferred to and processed in India. EU/EEA users may also bring disputes before a court in their country of residence under EU consumer protection laws.
We may update these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by email and by posting a prominent notice on the Service. Changes take effect 14 days after notice (or immediately if required by law).
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Credwik regarding the Service.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. Credwik's failure to enforce any right shall not constitute a waiver. You may not assign your rights without Credwik's prior written consent.
If you provide Credwik with suggestions or feedback, you grant Credwik a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use and incorporate such feedback into the Service without any obligation to you.
